GreenPlate is a recipe discovery app for popular diets like paleo, keto, and vegetarian. GreenPlate makes it easier and tastier to follow your diet and eat your way to a healthier you. Recipes are made by home cooks who follow the same diets so they're easy, convenient, and delicious.
As a UX/UI designer, you will design a delightful experience for users to add tasty variety to their diets. You'll craft a strong visual experience that highlights the diversity of recipes. You'll design an experience that will make it easy for users to find an inspiring meal that fits their lifestyle.

GreenPlate is centered around diet-friendly recipe discovery. It can be hard to choose the right meal - or find something that really inspires you to cook. The major design challenge with GreenPlate is to focus on making the discovery experience exciting, interesting, and tantalizing, and to keep users motivated to keep discovering.
You'll be given a requirements packet and an example of successful design just like if you were working as a designer in a top tech company. From there, you'll hone your design skills by solving the product and user problems. When you have a final design, you can add to it to your portfolio.

Add experience to your portfolioYou'll be tasked with designing the major flows for GreenPlate's core features at medium and high fidelities. You will need to optimize your designs for a native iOS or Android app.
Your designs should convey a brand identity that is visually appealing, health-conscious, and personable. This project will give you the opportunity to design interfaces like AirBnB and UberEats that need to elegantly display a lot of choices - from photos, to user ratings and ingredients.
This project will need intermediate UX/UI skills. You should be able to demonstrate a mastery of basic interactions, user flows, and modern UI patterns.
